Hello everyone. Approximately one month ago, I acquired a K68 keyboard and am curious about the possibility of detaching the keycaps. It would be incredibly beneficial for maintaining cleanliness, and if this is feasible, could you recommend a suitable tool? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Individuals utilize keycap extractors because they apply a more consistent pressure when removing the cap. While you might devise your own method, attempting to pull them off directly, rather than rocking them, prevents loosening of the attachment or potential breakage.

However, wire keycap extractors are ineffective for the spacebar; therefore, manufacturers advise removing adjacent caps initially and utilizing a plastic extractor instead. Plastic extractors are acceptable; nevertheless, they lack the same level of longevity.

Given that I reside in Greece, could you provide a link to purchase one from a Greek retailer? (If this is feasible, or alternatively, what search terms would be most effective for locating them?) Thank you kindly.

I'm curious: if I use my hand to remove it, would that cause any issues? I intend to purchase it anyway – just seeking some clarification. Thank you for your guidance.
