I just acquired a gaming notebook and a 240HZ external display. However, the laptop lacks a DP port, while the monitor does. I’m investigating what cable or adapter I require to operate my external screen at 240Hz, as HDMI 2.0 doesn't appear capable of achieving this refresh rate.

maximum channel bandwidth – 8.1 Gbps
maximum total signal bandwidth – 32.4 Gbps

The cable supports 8K resolution at a refresh rate of 60Hz. DisplayPort 1.4 is capable of handling 1080p displays with a 240Hz refresh rate.
