When accessing my settings, it mentions the AMD Radeon™ graphics as the high performance option instead of the rx 6700xt I installed. Anyone know why this discrepancy might occur?

Is the 6700xt visible in the device manager, and did you confirm connecting the HDMI/displayport to the GPU rather than the motherboard's IGUPT?

I was really surprised I had to connect it to the GPU instead of the motherboard, but once I did, the graphics settings showed the 6700xt and it worked perfectly.

No problem at all. It's normal to do it, though it's nice to know it's functioning properly.

It seems to be leveraging the built-in GPU. Make sure the RX 6700 XT is set as the main one in BIOS and reinstall the drivers using DDU.
