Hello, regarding the Intel Arc A770 16GB graphics card priced at 290 euros, I'm wondering if it's a good idea to purchase it in 2026.

It's acceptable for most games if you're willing to adjust graphics settings to hit your desired FPS. The A770 performs around RTX 3060 or RX 6600, roughly 5% better than the B570. I'd think about opting for the Arc B580 if it's priced similarly, since it's about 10-15% faster than the A770.

Hello!
In 2026, the Intel Arc A770 16GB remains a strong mid‑range choice because of its big VRAM and updated drivers, suitable for 1440p or entry‑level 4K gaming. Still, it doesn’t match the efficiency of the latest GPUs, so for top performance and energy savings, newer models like Battlemage or cards from Nvidia/AMD might be more suitable in the future.

I thought it would be soon forgotten, but if XeSS 3 does support it, it might be a worthwhile purchase if the price is reasonable. 290 Euros feels quite steep.

Are there additional choices within that budget?

Other alternatives could be considered based on specific needs. The reasons for choosing them depend on context and requirements.
