DRM-free titles from GOG can be saved and run repeatedly. Steam offers its own sharing features, as mentioned. There are many games that don’t require payment. Usually, you shouldn’t launch a game on more than one device simultaneously. For multiplayer titles, the system verifies if multiple sessions are active when you connect to the server. It’s up to you how you guide your children. After all, you set the example. If you misuse the system, they might too.

I was checking if it was being taken unfairly. Absolutely, the debates about who pays for Skyrim on my PS3 are pretty intense, but I don’t mind. If only one person in the family has to manage the whole library while others wait, that might not be the best setup. I mostly enjoy single-player titles, so multiplayer options for the whole family aren’t really appealing. There are plenty of great games available and new ones arriving regularly, so I’m confident we won’t face any major issues keeping everyone entertained. The kids already have the PS3, after all, and shouldn’t struggle much until more titles like Wild and Far Cry Primal become popular. Thanks for the thoughtful comments!

I believed you could run multiple Steam games using a single account while in offline mode.
