Hi, I'm currently dealing with an older rig and am looking into a significant upgrade in about seven months. My current specs are as follows: I have an I4770K CPU, a GTX770 GPU, 16GB of memory (speed uncertain), and a power consumption of around 750W. I've noticed a GTX1660 SUPER available for a reasonable price, around GBP 100, and wondered if it would be worth the investment before saving up for a better option. Thanks in advance.

Power I think is 750W. What model is this device? How old is it? Also, am I considering upgrading temporarily until I can save enough for a better upgrade? I’m curious if it’s worth investing in a new setup right now. My current unit is an older model, and I’ve moved away from it because of compatibility issues with my chipset drivers. I prefer to wait until I find more parts for a completely new platform—any money spent on second-hand components or extra storage won’t be useful.

i would be quite cautious about purchasing a gpu if it's not available on ebay, as there are many heavily mined cards there—you might just be replacing one problem with another. what is the precise psu 750w, and how much can it truly matter? what is your overall budget you're aiming for?

I recommend considering the 5600XT instead https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20482625...Bk9SR4rR-4OGZA&LH_BIN=1&LH_ItemCondition=3000
