It seems like a 3+1 phase VRM is present on that board. You might achieve what you expect from a high-end setup—perhaps around 4.5G. However, due to the processor throttling to maintain its 95W TDP (unless the BIOS allows disabling APM) and/or the VRM overheating, it could cause throttling under load. Short bursts of intensive tasks, common in daily Windows operations and games, rarely reach temperatures that would severely impact performance. You might notice a smoother experience with some Enzo glue-on heatsinks applied to the FETs, though you shouldn’t anticipate top-tier results for extended tasks like video encoding.
