My friend's setup seems capable of achieving high frame rates. The specs he mentioned are quite strong for his hardware. Is he exaggerating? What are the realistic FPS numbers for him? Thanks for your clarification.

I recall achieving 1000 FPS using a setup like that. He should know he can do that too.

It seems like CS;GO is a good fit.
At those extremely high refresh rates, performance is heavily dependent on CPU usage.
The frame rate doesn't really improve beyond 120 FPS.
The R9 380 offers a solid build.

I'm really sorry, I got confused. I didn't mention the game or settings. It was Fortnite at 1920 x 1080 low resolution, but with a great view distance.

In other words more or less what you would expect.
I will note that is probably average while nothing is happening. Fps will dip with stuff going on. Tho not catastrophicly.
