Is Gmail not receiving messages from specific domains?
Over the last few months I haven’t gotten email alerts from X & Discord or a few other platforms, except for admin messages. There’s nothing in spam or elsewhere, no blocked filters, and there’s plenty of storage. I’ve tried Outlook and ProtonMail too, but still no alerts. No one seems to know what’s happening. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
Verify if your Gmail account has been compromised
In the settings of your Gmail account, look for an unfamiliar forward mail address where emails are being sent.
Note: Forwarded messages are often deleted automatically, so the hijacked account won’t retain sensitive data that could be at risk to other accounts or important information.
I reviewed all my settings and everything seems fine. I also looked for any security alerts, but found none. Since I can still receive admin messages, I’m unsure what’s causing this issue. Gmail isn’t responding to anything, and the same problem occurs with Outlook and ProtonMail. I’m stuck.
Are you receiving messages to your inbox, but not having email alerts in Windows 10?
It's hard to determine what you're missing. Could the issue be that you previously received messages but no longer do? Check the System > Notifications section and verify the settings. Also, review the Focus options.
Ralston18.....that's the reason I posed this question. A different situation if he isn't receiving emails at all.
9 Ways to Fix Mail's Notifications Not Working on Windows
The Mail app on Windows is useful, yet it sometimes fails to alert you about new messages.
I use Gmail via Chrome and also tried Brave. I haven't received any messages from X or Discord except admin notifications, like when I changed passwords or switched email providers. Verification messages still appear. There might be a few additional domains not working. All other messages from other domains are now functioning properly. The issue started in May.
