Is firewatch a good game?

Has anyone tried it before? Is the cost justified and does it deliver quality? It seems visually appealing, but I’m unsure about its actual enjoyment. Looking for some perspective would be helpful...

I feel like I heard that it runs terribly. Nothing about the actual game, but if you have low-end hardware, you might not have an enjoyable experience.

I haven't played it, but I've seen videos about it. It doesn't offer much gameplay; it's mainly a story-driven experience where you mostly explore and enjoy.

I chose to watch it rather than play it, and I found the story appealing.
A solid game for fans of those narrative-driven adventure titles.

It's a visual experience. I really enjoyed it. The artwork and narrative stood out to me. I'd prefer if it were a VR game.

Firewatch is one of my top indie titles. I really like it. It has a nice appearance and good gameplay, but it's mostly story-focused (very little in terms of mechanics or progression beyond exploring and enjoying the narrative). I wish there were more games with this style!

Firewatch is enjoyable. I was referring to the unusual trash people create. I don't recall specific examples, but searching for quirky walking simulations should yield many options.

it was great to see the personality of the streamer, but I couldn't sit through it and play it. it would be boring for me.
