Is battlefield 2042 good now?
They put in a lot of changes. I don’t know why I’m bringing it up since I wouldn’t even be able to purchase it anyway, hehe.
I want to explain further why something is problematic, not just state it's bad.
It’s easy to find information online, but you’ll need to dig deeper if you want a solid decision. This is clearly a game failure. It still has bugs, crashes in multiplayer, and uninteresting game modes that didn’t engage players for long. The development team didn’t do their job properly—they rushed the release when it wasn’t fully stable, and they lacked the time or skill to handle it well. Whether it was the lead developer pushing it despite flaws, management forcing a launch, or just the general team lacking expertise, the situation has only worsened over the past six years.
It doesn’t seem like audiences are returning in the same way as in Halo Infinite. When contrasted with other titles that are thriving, this isn’t a promising outlook.
