I have a Gigabyte GAAB35GM-00-G router. Just recently, I got a new internet service. On other computers using the same ethernet cable, they get 600mb going up and 600mb coming down. But on my computer with that exact same cable, I only get 100mb coming from the Internet but 550mb for me to use locally. Is it possible my LAN port on the motherboard is broken? Is there something I can try or test to see if it's working properly?

Got any up-to-date network card drivers? Have you swapped out cables or checked different ports on both your computer and the hub?

I fixed my network card by downloading a new driver from Gigabyte, running it, and putting it on. I tested this exact setup on three other computers using the same cables and ports. Only my PC didn't get 600 megabits for sending or receiving data.

I only have one ethernet port on my computer. I plugged it into different spots inside the router but nothing worked.

Check your Ethernet settings against others around you.

I set up the same way before, and it's still not working because I believe the issue is elsewhere.

100 Mbit of upstream feels like you need a lot of "gaming" stuff, maybe even some cFOS software from Gigabyte's website. This thing is designed to stop your uploads and let gaming traffic come through first.

I use this software: Driver Booster, Overwolf, Parsec, Razer Synapse, uTorrent, uTorrentWeb, Citrix Receiver, and NVIDIA GeForce Experience. I think none of them have settings for what I need. When I open all of these programs, I don't see an option like that.
