At 160 USD the upgrade doesn't seem justified, yet I'm impressed by how much better performance these chips deliver under certain tasks. The jump from 6 to 8 cores gives a 52% speed boost, which is impressive. For games, such gains are common and expected.

Lots of currency could be used to improve the system (CPU, RAM, storage). Adding the chance to sell the current setup might also help.
