If you can afford it, purchase the superior card.
The appeal of the smaller price will fade quickly, leaving you with lingering doubts for a long time.

I experienced sudden shutdowns with an RTX 3060 running on a 2021 ATX 2.1 Corsair TX850M. Occasionally the machine would power off unexpectedly during lengthy video editing sessions lasting about eleven hours. The RTX3060 had a TDP of 170W, which suggests it could draw up to 340W under load. I discovered a solution by setting the GPU power limit to 95% in MSI Afterburner.

About two months prior, I replaced it with a newer ATX 3.1 model from MSI, removing the Afterburner power cap. Since then, the system has remained stable. In theory, the 850W Corsair should have been sufficient for both the RTX3060 and the 7950X, as the wall’s maximum continuous draw was around 400W with a 450W buffer.

However, changing from an 850W ATX 2.1 PSU to a 1000W ATX 3.1 PSU resolved the issue—though it may seem excessive. I’m now satisfied. Others might have better results, but be cautious of mysterious crashes and consider Afterburner if you think your GPU is faulty.

RMX 750 watt costs 114 right now and comes with a solid warranty.
I used an old computer with a poor processor. After upgrading the card, I could boot into a game and it would restart my computer each time, but fortunately nothing else was affected.
