I'm planning to get a gigabyte G5 MF, but I'm using one because I can't afford a new brand.
Hey! So bottleneck calculators are... pretty useful gadgets, right? 😄 They give you a quick estimate, but don’t take them completely seriously. Your Ryzen 5 3550H and GTX 1650 make a solid pair for a laptop setup—they’re both mid-range parts that perform well together for 1080p gaming.
The thing is, bottlenecks change depending on what you’re doing. If you’re gaming at 1080p medium-high, you’re in the clear. But trying to run Cyberpunk at ultra with ray tracing? Both parts will struggle together 😅
Don’t jump to upgrades just because a calculator says so! If your games run smoothly and you’re satisfied, you’re probably not facing any real bottlenecks. These calculators often exaggerate how much your PC will slow down, while actual performance is more complicated.
What games are you playing, and are you noticing any problems? That’s what really matters!
I frequently mention in comparable discussions that the biggest obstacle in any PC setup is actually the user!
But, they just don't understand.
