I own a gigabyte B450M GAMING motherboard from July 2018. I have all the necessary components to assemble the PC, but using a 2018 model might be outdated after five years.

This list works well when assembling a setup with older components.
What purpose are you planning to give it?
The reason for choosing the 8-port SATA expansion card is...

I planned to use it for gaming as well,
Also thinking about adding a dvd drive and other parts, the board has 4 sata ports but I'll need some extra for the sata ssd and just in case I want to add some extra fans, maybe rgb fans and more lights.

For games, things are quite underwhelming. Especially with the GPU and the small SSD. If you want more help, consider moving to the Systems Forum.
