I am acquiring an rx 480 8gb i7 6700k (8gb or 16). I'm planning to upgrade the CPU and want to know if a 650w power supply is sufficient. I will also be using a cooler master 650w psu.

Visit this website: http://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator, enter your configuration and press calculate. Regarding the power supply brand, I don't suggest it. Consider purchasing a Corsair, Seasonic, EVGA or XFX and be satisfied.
