Hello, I'm checking if the CORSAIR TX550M PSU is sufficient for this setup:
Ryzen 5 5600x
B450 TOMAHAWK
RTX 2070 SUPER ARMOR OC 8GB VRAM
16gbx2 DDR4 3000mhz
M.2 1tb
SSD 256Gb
HDD 500GB
plus peripherals

I believe the video card consumes about 215 watts; the CPU needs at least 65 watts, along with other components such as the monitor and additional peripherals.
It seems you're overloading it, especially if the power supply is outdated. The TX series was highly regarded, but I'm uncertain if it's still being produced.
Most people would likely give a definitive no, though you have the right to take risks if you wish.

Which version of TXm are you considering? There are two available: 2017 and 2021. According to my understanding, both have reached end of life and are no longer in production. Both model years are considered average quality, and the 550W rating seems insufficient for your rig's capacity. A 650W unit would be a better choice, and a 750W one is also acceptable. For a PC with a dedicated GPU, a Tier A PSU is ideal. Recommended options include Seasonic Focus/Vertex/PRIME, Corsair RMx/RMi/HXi/AXi, and Super Flower Leadex Gold/Platinum/Titanium. Here’s the PSU tier list: [link]. Tier A will suffice, while Tier A+ is preferred. My two PCs are exclusively powered by Tier A+ units. I own Seasonic PRIME 650 Titanium (Tier A+) and Seasonic PRIME Ultra 650 Titanium (Tier A+). See the specs/pics in my profile.
