i have the following build
Ryzen 5 2400g
8gb ram
500gb hdd
AB350 mobo
Cooler master elite 350
i plan on adding a rx 570 to the build
the obvious prob is the psu , its enuf for the current build but it seems that it wont be enuf if i were to add the gpu , what do you think abt this ?
if no
how many watts do i need ?
and is wattage everything in a psu even if its a cheap 450w or 500w one ? or getting a more expensive branded psu better ?

Here’s a rewritten version of the text, using different words to convey the same information:

Investing in a reliable power supply unit (PSU) is crucial for your computer. A weak PSU can damage other components and cause system failure. Prioritize quality over cost when selecting a PSU – it's an investment that safeguards your entire PC.

Spending less on a PSU is a significant mistake. Opting for a high-quality unit will protect your hardware, ensuring stable and efficient operation for years to come.

Excellent 550W PSUs include:
* Seasonic Focus Plus
* EVGA G2 or G3
* Corsair RMX

These models offer robust performance and reliability, providing crucial protection for your system’s core components.

It's fine until you add the 570 then it's definitely not enough.
A good 450w would be enough but if you're going to to be cheaping out go at Least 550

Don’t cut corners when selecting a PSU – it's the most vital component, as all other parts depend on its functionality. Opting for a robust PSU offers superior protection and reliable performance.

Recommended high-quality PSUs include:

* Seasonic Focus Plus
* EVGA G2 or G3
* Corsair RMX

These units provide excellent power delivery and stability, ensuring your system runs smoothly and safely. A good quality 550W PSU is a solid investment for long-term computer performance.

It will run your build but I won't recommend you to get it as if you need to add a dedicated graphic card in future then you need to change it. I will suggest you to get a good 550w silver or gold certified PSU
