I’m a gamer who streams while playing. I have an i5-9400f and am searching for either AMD or Intel CPUs. I need a motherboard with I/O Shield support, included in the package, that can handle streaming and gaming smoothly at around 1 PC. My budget is between $300 and $350, with a GPU like GeForce 1660 Ti, 16GB RAM (2x8GB), and a Corsair 32GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Vengeance LPX.

Ryzen 5600X for $170 on Amazon. Asus Tuf Gaming B550-PLUS listed at $150, possibly around $335 with tax. Runs a 5900X; board looks decent but RAM specs matter—check QVL. B550-PRO adds a 3.2 header if needed. Stock cooler works for 5600X, but better options like Scythe Mugen or Fuma are recommended. Updated August 31, 2022 by An0maly_76

You're asking about a CPU upgrade from the 9400f to a newer Intel or AMD model, and you need a motherboard that supports it. You also want the board to include an integrated I/O shield, avoiding separate components.
