Hi everyone, I’m deciding not to purchase a new GPU. Instead, I’m exploring a suitable gaming laptop for about 2000 dollars in the US. I’ll need it for trips and want to stay connected. Thanks for your assistance.
I’m comparing a couple of models:
G614JIR-AS94 – no online reviews available, but this is what I prefer.
G614JIR-XS96 – doesn’t have a number pad which isn’t to my liking.

There are some reviews for the ROG Strix G16, but they pertain to the 2023 version. The one you're interested in is worth buying and will serve you well for a long time, once you've adjusted the voltage.
Are you in the vicinity of a Microcenter? They offer a laptop that looks identical to the one you mentioned, at a lower price.
