Interruptions in motion. Stuttering visuals.
I recently upgraded my whole computer to the latest specifications. Everything works pretty much as expected, but I still face issues in games. Recently, I encountered similar problems with frame freezes and stutters. At that time, I resolved it by clearing some disk space—I bought two new 1TB M.2 NVMe SSDs. It helped, though it’s not ideal for the hardware I’m using. I’ve noticed my system stutters more often now, especially after installing a new M.2 drive. The drive remains empty. I’ve tried many solutions, but this issue seems to appear mainly in games, particularly Call of Duty. It’s not just game-related anymore; it happens in every game. I’m struggling to figure out why.
I have an X570 motherboard, four DDR4 4x8GB RAM sticks at 3600MHz, a Ryzen 5 5600X, an RTX 3080 water cooled graphics card, a SATA SSD as the boot drive. My other drives include a 1TB Samsung Evo 970, an Intel 660 1TB SSD, and a 2TB hard drive. I also have a Corsair 1000 W PSU with 80+ Gold certification.
I’m not sure what’s causing the problem—the card itself seems fine, though it occasionally stutters. But every few seconds it freezes. I’ve updated everything and am searching for a solution. Would it help to look into potential bugs or check where I might be going wrong? I didn’t buy this setup to deal with freezing frames, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
