Hello, do you have any network specialists available? My computer isn't connecting to the Ethernet port. WiFi is fine, I switched to a different router but the issue persists. When I connect the broadband cable directly and set up a dial-up connection, it works. I've tried resetting the adapters, clearing DNS entries, and changed the IPV4 DNS to Google's. I also reset my router, updated the firmware, and refreshed the LAN drivers, yet nothing has changed. Since I haven't used my PC in a while, today I realized the problem. Appreciate any advice you can offer. [Note: I turned off all VPNs then it resolved.]

Are you trying to establish a connection similar to a phone line? I’m not sure if you mean dial-up. How is your device linking to the router? Do you have an Ethernet cable running straight from the router to the PC, or does it pass through a patch panel and wall?

Well there's a option called "dial-up connection" in windows where you put in the username and password of your broadband connection, this is for direct connection from ISP to PC no router, which does connects me to the internet. Via the router I'm connecting a cable from the router's LAN port to my PC's Ethernet port, which doesn't connect to the internet. I also tried changing the cable.
