Choose the quicker plan if your provider provides a faster option. Opt for another ISP in your region that delivers higher speeds if yours doesn’t match. If neither your current ISP nor nearby providers offer better speeds, consider relocating to an area with stronger connectivity. Alternatively, accept your existing 1Gb connection since not everyone can afford the upgrade.
Comcast's Gigabit Plan provides speeds of 1.2 Gbps down and 35 Mbps up, but with a 20% over-provisioning they deliver closer to 1.4 Gbps down and 45 Mbps up. They also provide Gigabit Pro, offering symmetrical 2 Gbps fiber service for $500 installation, $500 activation, and $299 per month with a long-term agreement.

EU offers 1Gbit coverage effortlessly. However, in my situation even with the top ISP in the country, we receive around 70-80€ per month for only 750Mb/s. To achieve full 1Gb/s or an extra 250Mb/s would require an additional 20-25€ each month, bringing the total to roughly 100€ monthly.
