Hello, I was working on some house improvements and remember when they installed telephone cables from the top to the router. The copper wires run through my living room. My estimated walking distance for these cables is about 550 meters from the cabinet in my area. I often face problems where even a small movement of the cable changes the signal quality significantly, causing speed drops and instability. On average, my connection fluctuates between 40 to 60 megabits per second, while upstream stays steady at 35 Mbps. My question is how to improve stability, especially since the cabinet to home uses copper wiring. What’s the likelihood that bending the cable slightly could ruin performance? Most of the visible cable in the picture is outdated. Should I consider replacing the cables?
