Hello everyone. I just upgraded my internet connection to 400MB download speeds for a smoother experience. On my PC, connected via Ethernet, the download is about 487MB and upload around 24MB. The issue is that on Wi-Fi, I’m seeing between 100 and 160MB downloads. My Asus ACR13 router seems to be the problem. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Which iPhone model are you using? It supports the Wi-Fi hardware features you mentioned. I remember you had that same router before and found it unreliable for wireless AC. You might want to upgrade to a better router for stable speeds. The one you just bought for $99 works well!

I own an iPhone 8 Plus. I’ve checked it near my router in the living room, but the speeds remain unchanged. I also tested it on my wife’s iPhone 11, and the issue persists. Thanks for the link—I’ll keep it in mind.

Probably interference. If you're using 2.4Ghz then check for bluetooth devices that may interfere with your wifi, try changing the wireless channel. On 5Ghz I think it's mostly about the channel that you're using
