Internet is quick throughout the nation, but outside areas are slower.
Hello everyone, I’m facing an odd issue. On any local server in my country, speedtest.net shows solid performance—about 480 Mbps download and 300 Mbps upload. But when I switch to servers outside my country, the speeds plummet to around 80 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload. The strange part is that my phone and laptop still perform well. I bypassed the router and used a direct internet connection, yet the main machine still lags. After installing Windows 11 on a clean build, the laptop works fine. I’ve tested multiple cards, tried different network setups, and even reset DNS and drivers, but nothing improves things. My ISP says it’s not their fault since my laptop and phone are functioning normally. I’m using Windows 10 version 19044 on a 3950X processor with an X570 Aorus Ultra. Any others experiencing similar problems?
I resolved the issue. Check if Windows 10 restricts your internet speed. The command `netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal` helped—once enabled it functions properly.
