IE is currently more efficient than Google Chrome. Switching back is tough due to the time invested in Chrome.

It’s true, the older IE versions were really problematic, but newer ones have improved quite a bit. Using Chrome is fine for most people now, even though I’ve been using it for a while. For everyday users, there aren’t many noticeable differences between browsers, but getting into the details can often cause confusion.

Just to clarify, the person who fixed the issue started working with the operating system from Vista onward. ...Although the Vista version didn't function properly, that's a different matter altogether...
