Hello everyone, just wanted to share an unusual experience my computer had this evening. It's only been about a month since I got it, so it's still learning its ways. I turned it off for the night and came back a bit later to adjust some GPU settings. When I tried to boot again, it didn't start right away—both the graphics and CPU indicators stayed lit for a short time, maybe around 30 seconds or less. I was really worried about this, even though it eventually worked properly. After that, I powered it down, waited a while, and then turned it back on. It didn’t repeat the issue again. My system specs are a 7800X3D, 32GB GDDR5, 6000MT, M.2 SSD, an MSI B650 Pro with Wi-Fi, and a RX790X. If anyone has any insights or knows what this might be, it would be super helpful.
Ideal setup, AM5 supports extended memory retraining sequences. Your CPU will handle this using RAM during startup, with memory context restore activating training only when required rather than continuously. This means occasional boot delays may occur while the system retrains memory. Overall, no major concerns here.
