I just changed from team blue and green to a full team red build and I’ve been feeling really bad. The specs are great, games run well on ultra settings without crashes, but the overall experience is terrible. The drivers often cause my windows to freeze, games and audio to drop at times. On CS2 I’m struggling to maintain more than 300 fps, and most games work fine but the GPU crashes after reaching 100%. Anyone know what’s going wrong or if there’s something I’m missing in my setup? What should I do?

When you changed parts, did you also carry out a complete, clean Windows installation? Is the operating system fully updated? Are there any adjustments made to the CPU, GPU, or memory? Did you obtain your AMD chipset and video drivers directly from AMD?

Windows has been fully updated, the file was downloaded from the Microsoft site. There was no original copy, only AMD EXPO which caused system issues, forcing me to use RAM at base clock speeds. All drivers were downloaded directly from AMD; I didn’t install Andrenaline because it’s just poor-quality software from the AMD site. Also, for some mysterious reason, after completing the installation on a completely new Windows after restarting, the system stops working properly. I can’t access anything except Windows Explorer, which also prevents me from opening other programs. The only solution I found was to open Task Manager as soon as I logged in, after which everything functions normally. I suspect I have a problem with my RAM or processor, but I can’t determine the exact cause.

What is the exact model number of your memory? I believe it is 2x16GB in slots A2/B2. Is that accurate?
Have you checked the memory with a testing tool such as memtest?
By the way, there is no issue with Adrenaline. I don’t understand why people think it’s bad to use. It functions perfectly.

Hello there,
Which operating systems are you using? If they're outdated, it might definitely lead to some or all of your problems.

You can locate memtest to assess your RAM by searching for it online or checking the manufacturer's website for G Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32 GB DDR5.

Download memtest here:
https://www.memtest.org/
Create a bootable USB and start from there.
Your memory should have a label with the complete model number. You can also retrieve this information using CPU-Z if installed on your PC.

The process was handled carefully, and yes, I ensured the CMOS was cleared afterward.

cannot install CPUZ this message appears, "A security setting is flagging it as a vulnerable driver and preventing its loading. You should modify your settings to allow the driver."
