Interested in checking if your RAM works with your system?
I was mentally reviewing a few tasks related to my computer while pondering past experiences. A few months back I installed a new GPU and found that my RAM was stuck at 2133mhz. I attempted to raise it via XMP in BIOS, but it caused frequent crashes and instability. I adjusted the settings again—3000mhz, then 2988mhz—and still faced odd behavior and numerous BSoD messages. Eventually I returned it to 2133mhz and have kept that setting ever since. My concern is whether my RAM isn’t compatible with my motherboard or if there’s another issue at play.
