I was mentally reviewing a few tasks related to my computer while pondering past experiences. A few months back I installed a new GPU and found that my RAM was stuck at 2133mhz. I attempted to raise it via XMP in BIOS, but it caused frequent crashes and instability. I adjusted the settings again—3000mhz, then 2988mhz—and still faced odd behavior and numerous BSoD messages. Eventually I returned it to 2133mhz and have kept that setting ever since. My concern is whether my RAM isn’t compatible with my motherboard or if there’s another issue at play. This is the model from Bestbuy: CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 CORSAIR - Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (2PK 16GB) 3.2GHz PC4-25600 DDR4 DIMM Unbuffered Non-ECC Desktop Memory Kit with RGB Lighting — Black specs are listed below.

The Ryzen 2000 series has difficulty handling RAM above 2933 MHz. Ensure the RAM is installed in slots 2 and 4 to enable DOCP. Adjust settings manually: set frequency to 2933, voltage to 1.35, SOC voltage to 1.1. Consider updating the BIOS as well.
