I was trying to run Dolphin on my i5 760, unfortunately it performed poorly, but PCSX2 worked smoothly—it was confusing, but I’m confident once I switch to a high-end machine like the SL i7 everything will function properly. I’ll have to wait until Monday for the new PSU and case.
They suggest a second generation i5 or higher, and possibly an NVIDIA 650 or better. A few titles still perform poorly regardless.
You can obtain the ROM in a similar manner as most users get music, though the risk of encountering malware is just something you’ll have to manage like anyone downloading from the internet. You might look up dedicated sites for ROMs or ISO files on Google, or try the well-known torrent platform that stays anonymous—remember, “chop of one head, two more shall take its place” *hint hint*.
