Sure, I agree with your assessment. At that cost, 2080 seems too expensive. Perhaps a model around 300 would be better. The last good offer was a Vega 64 for $190 locally, and an ASUS Strix One in near-new condition. I’m currently using it as my primary PC.
Finding second-hand older flagships at lower prices is less common now following recent changes. Consider checking models like 6650, which tend to beat out the 2080.
