Hello, I've reached out after visiting a couple of other communities (Lenovo and Intel) but received no guidance on resolving this issue. My Intel ME firmware is locked in Recovery Mode and won't update or revert to an earlier version. Some have advised me to re-flash the BIOS, remove the CMOS battery on my laptop, and force a Linux flash. So far, nothing has helped, so I'm hoping someone with more experience can help, especially since I've struggled to get assistance beyond just asking about the laptop's manufacturer, CPU maker, and firmware. My setup includes a Lenovo 82FG system running Duel boot, Windows 10 Pro and Linux Arch.

Consider using the Lenovo recovery utility if you haven't done so already, but it's better to reach out to their support chat directly rather than via the forum. Support: https://us.lena.lenovo.com/callcenterv2/ Tool: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/produ...very-media

as i said.. i have tried that. this is a bios firmware issue, not a windows issue. and even then they sent me to intel. who told me to just go back to lenovo. this has been a massive headache.
