What exact model? It can be 2133C15 up to 4400C19. Because it's a 3 gen old motherboard the CPUs are EOL. You have to look for a used one for your MB. Maybe Marktplaats if you trust it.

Thanks in advance! The motherboard only has two fan ports, but I have six fans. Using a fan hub could help manage them.

Low VRM power supply. Gets extremely warm. Works fine with a 12400W, but upgrading to a 12700 would limit performance. Unclear about your budget, but if I were you, I’d choose...

Fanhub seems like a straightforward fix. Most boards don’t even offer six fan ports :p.

It's acceptable with a 12700, though it hasn't been tested yet. It's not ideal, but it works. If they're willing to push for it, the board you mentioned would be better. A 12400 is already superior to a 9900k, so a 12700 isn't necessary.
