my budget falls between 600 and 700E, i need to buy other items this month which affects how much i can spend on upgrades. i was excited about getting a Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 7 3700X from the FX-8350, but the resellers in Italy already have them. the best alternatives would be Aliexpress. now i’m exploring other choices, and i noticed a local shop offers a 50E discount if i buy a 500E. i plan to repurpose several components from my old PC, including my old GPU R9 Fury. https://it.pcpartpicker.com/list/ygbZz7 i don’t have much experience with Intel parts, so i’m unsure if they’re suitable. sadly, Amd options are pricier at the same store for a Ryzen 7 3700X at 490E, though some reviews suggest the 10700F might work better than the Ryzen 7 3700X while offering similar performance and power usage. my main concern is the PSU, specifically the Gen 4 model.

Also appreciated the info, I wasn't aware the power section uses more energy. Checking the specs probably shows it twice—65W and 125W.

At stock (power limti mode) it operates around 10W higher than 3700x yet drops to 3700x. When unlocking the power mode, it mimics the 10700f with roughly 50-100W more than 3700x but performs slightly better.
