I read a rumor that intel's 11th gen is going to have some sort of chiplet style integrated graphics. Does this mean they're finally retiring the ancient HD/UHD 5/630? I'm getting parts ready for a Small-form-factor APU build the second DDR5 hits in 1-2 years time. I've already got the case and PSU. I'm in the process of picking out an M.2 SSD and the primary system fan. Where I'm kinda afraid to go forward is the actual CPU cooler because now I'm uncertain if Intel is actually going to try and take AMD on in the realm of integrated graphics by time they both introduce their DDR5 platforms. Low profile coolers for SFF don't all have universal socket compatibility. This build is a huge passion project for me as I'm making my entire home lifestyle more minimalist and sustainable. Ofcourse I could just source one of the new Renoir APUs off ebay or something since that will play my games just fine, but I feel that I can afford to wait for DDR5 for a true minimalist gaming experience. So I'm just asking here to see if anybody knows anything about Intel's upcomming Rocket Lake or Alder Lake parts specifically their graphics in the run up to DDR5.

You'll likely have to wait another 1-2 years before it arrives. I'm not expecting desktop versions by 2021, just laptops.
