I'm trying to refresh my understanding of Intel's upcoming CPU lineup, especially Rocket Lake. The presentation above included details from recent press releases. A key point is the rollout timeline: Tiger Lake is expected in Q3, marking the next 10nm mobile processor rumored to include Willow Cove cores—offering a significant performance boost over Ice Lake's Sunny Cove—and Xe graphics. Alder Lake 2H'21 is slated for 10nm, aimed at both mobile and desktop applications, potentially combining hybrid architecture with additional cores. I'm having trouble finding concrete information about Rocket Lake beyond speculation. It seems likely it will be a relatively short development window before its release. I'm curious if anyone has heard anything official from Intel regarding Rocket Lake. If it does appear, I imagine it might be a limited edition launch, similar to the Broadwell desktop processors—just two high-end models initially, with lower-tier chips following Comet Lake until Alder Lake arrives.
