There are two perspectives here. Both hardware for Windows 11 and support for hardware exist. Older systems can generally run Windows 11 well, though Microsoft seems to be setting the boundary there. A BIOS update from Asus doesn't confirm anything about Microsoft's future plans. Official approval isn't required—you might still manage to run it, but not with the official endorsement. If updates threaten your current setup, you're left without options.
