I have a laptop with the above process and Aptio/American Megatrends bios vers. 2.18.1263. The power limit seems to be stuck at 10w regardless of bios settings I've blindly ham-fisted into it. It will boost forever now that I've disabled every thermal protection and C-State buuuut I've lost the ability to shut it down. I'd love for any advice. The device is a Maestro Evolve III v2 laptop; the $60 one from Micro Center.

I'm not clear on your request. Are you looking to raise your power limit beyond 10 watts? (Note, this exceeds the 4W Intel limits.)

I've noticed a power restriction issue when exiting the sleep state that erases the limit right after waking. I haven't managed to adjust the memory directly for this effect. The discussion mentions a 15W limit, but I don't have any working example. It might be fixed in upcoming revision chips or BIOS updates.
