My friend and I tried the i9-11900k at home. It was advertised on Chinese marketplaces a few days back. ES price 2300 | QS price 3500 We believe the 11th gen Core is merely a transitional model... ----- We were running MSI Z490I UNIFY board CB R15: CPU-z:

The Ryzen 5000 series is a great choice for comparison, especially when looking at performance and value.

Yes, you can view the specifications section in CPU-Z.

According to the CPU-Z benchmark, it outperforms the 5900X and 5950X in single-core performance, yet both of these models excel significantly in multi-core scenarios because the 11900K chip is only an 8-core or 16-core processor.

They're not worth anything.

Reviewing the R15 score of 2454, here’s a comparison point. I previously achieved a 3700X fixed at 4.3 GHz, scoring 2238. Without 8-core Intel, the closest I have is a 6-core 8086k OC reaching 5.2 with a score of 1740, which would likely translate to around 2320 on 8 cores. Scaling isn’t perfect, but Cinebench generally performs well across different configurations. For context, my past tests indicated Zen 2 offered more than a 20% improvement in IPC over Skylake in R15. This difference here is only about 17%, suggesting real-world scaling might be emerging as core counts rise. In summary, Rocket Lake is projected to see roughly an 18% boost in IPC over Skylake, similar to what’s claimed for the Ice Lake mobile. I won’t give a precise figure, but 11900k likely ran in the low 4.x GHz during R15—a sensible all-core boost. @YuuKi-AnS, do you know the clock speed while running R15? Would you expect my sample to be QS? (I’m new to this, but ES probably won’t list the full CPU name.)

Yes, this is a QS sample, it runs this turbo frequency of 5.2GHz.

The top performance comes from CB23 multicore, including single-core options. My brother's 5800X is showing around 650 and 6500 cores, which is noticeably less than the 11900K by a significant margin.
