Consider turning off built-in graphics if you're using a separate discrete card. The optimal method depends on your setup—check compatibility and performance needs before proceeding.

It doesn't really matter. When you're doing memory overclocking, turning it off might help in some cases, especially near the stability limit, but it mostly helps only in specific situations. Keep it on.

Expo or Xmp typically isn't considered memory over clocking in this context.

It seems you're focusing on pushing memory controller boundaries with specific configurations. The 6600 CL30 in Gear 1, DDR5 8000+ in Gear 2, and 4400+ on 4x32GB setups might be challenging. Standard 6000 CL30 with a 2x16 or 2x32GB setup should work fine. @GuiltySpark_ raises a valid concern, but I haven't personally encountered that issue unless the display is connected to the dGPU. Don't worry unless you're experiencing problems.

When encountering the issue you mentioned, turning off the device in Device Manager resolves it, but for a complete fix, adjust the settings in the BIOS.

This project uses an AMD discrete GPU with a 7800XT. I'm exploring which titles have shown similar performance issues.
