Don't understand the reasoning, and doubt it will succeed—just connect the two monitors to your dGPU.

What are your specifications? Are you using a desktop or a laptop? If it's a desktop with both an integrated GPU and a dedicated GPU, it might work. However, the reason behind this is unclear. An extra monitor doesn't significantly affect performance. Running two GPUs would likely have a more noticeable impact.

It should function properly as long as the iGPU doesn<|pad|> to stay enabled when a dGPU is connected. Experience in IT over the past few years showed that older graphics cards often struggled with secondary monitors—professors needed to manually connect one monitor to the motherboard and another to the GPU. In practice, you should only rely on iGPU over dGPU for a secondary display if the dGPU lacks the specific port you require.
