The specs you shared refer to a PC tower build. The HDD is sourced from an old laptop since purchasing a new one isn't feasible.

I understand your request now! Just remove the hard drive completely, format it, then install it on your new desktop and proceed with the startup process!

Hey there fellow captain Here's a guide on how to create a bootable flash drive for Windows 7: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...nload-tool The installer is able to format a partition or your whole drive so you can install the OS on it. I'd back up everything from the partition/partitions that you'd like to put the OS on as it will be formatted. Captain_WD.
