Motherboard: X870E Taichi Lite BIOS – Windows 11 installation issues: drives not detected despite installation. Attempted RAID Preinstall driver from official site, but it didn’t work. Linux ISO support for NVMe drives confirmed. Tested various USB ports; found no drivers on the board. Suggested reverting to a previous W11 version before upgrading. Consider enabling compatibility mode in BIOS settings. Other Linux ISO versions recognized it. Tried using Intel Rapid Storage driver, but it didn’t apply to AMD system. No USB sticks with drivers found. Any advice on resolving this? Thanks!

Check if it appears in Diskpart by pressing Shift+F10 during Windows Setup. Enter "diskpart", then "list disk", and press Enter. It should show "Disk 0". If found, type "select disk 0", press Enter, and enter "clean" to clear the MBR initialization. Restart and verify again if needed.

I used the official media creation tool to prepare the Windows 11 USB stick.

When RAID is enabled in the BIOS, consider switching it to ACPI mode or installing the RAID driver on your Windows installation media.

The list of available drives didn’t show any entries when I selected the folder with drivers. I believe these are for Raid, but it seems unrelated to that setup. It appears the drivers are meant for a different configuration. /Drivers/Floppy(v9.3.3.218)/... This option might only work after an existing installation is already in place. I don’t have it, and I also lack the ability to repair it.

Occasionally the issue arises from a wrongly formatted ISO. This can happen when working on a Mac, and sometimes a friend needed several hours just to fix it.

I downloaded ISO files from the official site https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software.../windows11 and attempted to create a USB directly from them using BalenaEtcher. I also tried Ventoy with various Linux ISO versions, but encountered the same issue. Additionally, I used an older Windows 10 ISO installation, which still didn’t boot properly and didn’t recognize drives. I’m curious if it wouldn’t work at all, as that would point to a USB or ISO problem.
