Hello, your recent upgrade to Windows 10 was followed by a clean install option. Now you're at the setup stage, which is taking longer than expected. The progress from 17% to 21% happened quickly—about 45 minutes—but the total time to finish is estimated at 15 hours. Is this typical for your system?

I agree. It's preparing the hard drive, which requires a significant amount of time.

I frequently reinstalled Windows 7, usually completing it in under an hour.

It might take a while—compressing and copying 20GB could be quite time-consuming depending on your setup.

A stark difference compared to setting up Windows 8.1, which requires no more than five minutes during installation on an SSD

It's done now, the initial 30% likely took a while. I'm starting to configure my PC.

It took roughly two hours, as it went from 50% to 70%, meaning the change wasn't straightforward.
