I've seen this topic before, so please be patient. I came across a video using a heat gun and wondered if placing thermal pads on it would help. Would it improve performance or heating? Is it worth trying? Are there simpler alternatives to consider? Let me know if you need any clarification.

It doesn't add value. I won't assist much.

The setup remains unchanged unless you modify it. To change the memory voltage, adding a fan to the heatsink can help more than just swapping the adhesive pads. Removing them is simple with a bit of LNG or cold spray from hardware stores. The heat spreaders should come off completely. I recommend against doing this unless absolutely necessary. If you find a suitable spot, it’s likely outside specifications and could harm the memory over time. It’s simpler and more cost-effective to replace the memory itself. These pads are useful mainly for GPUs and motherboard VRM heatsinks in genuine overclocking situations. In everyday use, you probably won’t notice any difference. The RAM modules will still function properly even without the heatsink, especially if the CPU has reached its thermal limit.
