Hey everyone, I'm facing a bit of an issue with my EVGA X58 Classified (141-BL-E760-E1). It's running smoothly with the three different Intel i7 boards I've tested—920, 930, and 965—and everything works fine. However, when I tried the Xeon X5670 models, the motherboard LEDs lit up "FF," indicating a problem. From what I understand, it seems the board doesn't support Xeons at the time of purchase. Anyone have any suggestions or workarounds? Maybe a BIOS update or a different flashable BIOS?

The initial Classified boards require minor modifications to work with Westmere CPUs. https://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=2532618&mpage=1 My EVGA X58 Classified 141-GT-E770 supports these CPUs out of the box, while the earlier models do not.
