Installing Clean Windows 11 from Poland to China
Installing Clean Windows 11 from Poland to China
You're experiencing an unusual behavior after resetting your Windows 11 system. Detecting a connection to a Chinese IP address right after installation is uncommon and could indicate a security risk or misconfiguration. It's not typical for a clean reset to immediately expose such a connection, so it might warrant further investigation into your network settings or potential malware interference.
The Chinese IP address directs to Ningxia West Cloud Data Technology Co.Ltd. This may breach GDPR regulations. Please reach out to the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO): https://uodo.gov.pl/
Your system is linking to various Chinese domains, including those associated with the government. This situation may raise concerns about data privacy and compliance. It’s understandable to feel uneasy about such connections. Microsoft’s actions could involve sharing your data with authorities, which might conflict with regulations like GDPR. Consider reviewing your account settings or contacting support for clarification.
Initiate a fresh installation and verify it is an authorized version. If the problem continues, reach out to the appropriate support teams.
I restored my system using an official ISO, and at first Glasswire reported nothing unusual. I added a program named Portmaster to get more details, and then the usual warning began appearing a few hours after installation: Beijing Guanghuan Xinwang Digital CHINA UNICOM China169 Backbone Chinanet Backbone Ningxia West Cloud Data Technology Co.Ltd. CHINANET SiChuan Telecom Internet Data Center. All these links are on my block list, but the strange aspect is strong. It might be better to discuss this under "Networking." The odd part is that these TCP connections appear steady and don’t seem to have a clear explanation.
