I followed these steps: powered down the PC, unplugged everything, cleaned it, installed a new HDD, connected the right cords properly, reassembled everything, restarted it, and finally opened a browser. When I turned it back on, the desktop appeared and I was able to access it. Then the PC shut off and the motherboard showed 00. I’m still confused about what happened.

What kind of motherboard do you have? I understand that an ASUS model with code 00 indicates an issue with the CPU. You might reset the BIOS by either jumping the pins or pressing the designated button, depending on your specific board. If this doesn't resolve it, remove the CMOS battery for a few minutes, then reinstall it and attempt the reset again.

I've replaced my CPU, GPU, and reset the BIOS. The next step would be to take out the CMOS battery and reinsert it. My CPU seemed okay and there were no bent pins visible.
